How to recover deleted partition from external hard drive
External hard drives are portable hard disk drives whose storage capacity ranges from several gigabytes (GB) to terabytes (TB). These hard disc drives can be connected to a computer using USB drive. External hard drives are mainly used to backup the data present in your computer. Partitions can be created on an external hard drive same as your internal hard drive partitions.
While creating partitions in your external hard drive, you can divide it based on your required size. For example, a 1TB external hard drive can be divided into 4 partitions of 250GB each. This can be done using disk management utility in Windows operating system. Once you create the partition, a drive letter will be automatically generated which will be different from the existing drive letters. Each time the external hard disk is connected to a different machine, the drive letters may vary depending on the drive letters already present in the internal drive.
When the partition from external hard drive is accidentally deleted or lost, it would be really annoying because the data present in those partitions would be deleted. However, when the partitions are deleted from your external hard drive, do not think that the data is lost forever. It can be recovered using Remo Recovery software, which can recover data from external hard drive by retrieving deleted partitions in Windows operating system. It is a dynamic read-only partition recovery software recovers deleted partitions without affecting other partitions present in your hard drive.
You can follow the simple steps provided below to recover data from deleted partitions from external hard drive:
Step 1: After installing the software in your computer, connect the affected hard drive using USB drive and then launch the software to restore lost partition from your external hard drive. Once the software is launched, select "Recover Partitions / Drives" option from the main windows, then a screen pops up from which you need to select "Partition Recovery" option, as shown in figure 1

Step 2: Once you click on "Partition Recovery" option, the software displays all the physical drives present in your computer including the connected external hard drive. Select the external hard drive, click next. Then the software scans the external hard drive and displays all the found partitions that were deleted or lost as shown in figure 2

Step 3: Then select the partition from which you want to retrieve lost data and click next. Then the software scans your external hard drive, searched for all the lost data that was present in that partition and displays it. You can preview the recovered data as shown in figure 3

Step 4: Later you can use "Save Recovery Session" option in the Demo Version to save the scanned information and once you purchase the product you can use "Open Recovery Session" option and resume data recovery process
